Spring time (planting mishap time) is here again!

Joy! things have well and truly kicked into life again after a long miserable winter, shame that planting legacy here in the UK often means 'exotic' spring flowering trees and shrubs get lumped together when visually they shouldn't be with in a mile of each other.

Its pretty common here in Cheshire to see a forsythia and an ornamental cherry planted next to each other, i'm not convinced it works though.
